How Grounded Are You?

Exercise is important

Eating healthy is important

Mental health and well-being is paramount – This binds everything together!

Without happiness, feeling content and taking time each day to love yourself and be grateful, you will never find that balance of being healthy in all aspects of your life.

My schedule is insane, running the Evolution Project, Camberley takes a lot of love and time, as well as all of life’s demands outside of work. However, the one thing I take time to do everyday (as well as meditate), which can take a few minutes to as long as you like is spend time in nature to maintain a feeling of balance and connection with the Earth!

Have you ever noticed how walking barefoot in the grass feels amazing and so natural to our bodies? (Sand is also good-when we get the chance for a sun-trapped holiday!)

Grounding (also called Earthing) connects our bodies to the electrons running through the Earth. Grounding brings our bodies into contact with the Earths electromagnetic energy helping us resonate with our biological system to increase vitality, health and well-being.

In this day and age, we spend so much time cooped up inside as well as using so many machines and types of technology that gives off radiation.

(Even our shoes contain rubber and create a barrier.)

All this can lead to a block disconnecting us from the Earth.

Through the practice of grounding, we can ensure that our well-being remains in a positive state and our bodies receive the amazing benefits that the Earths natural energy can provide us.

Benefits of Grounding

Better immune system

Improved sleep

Improved blood circulation

Increased recovery from fitness training

Reduced stress and anxiety

Reduced inflammation

How to Ground yourself

Go outside – even a few minutes on a lunch break to be present in nature, take a few deep inhales/exhales.

Walk in nature barefoot –my favourite and no excuse now summer is coming, find a park (I love Virginia Waters) slip off those shoes and feel the grass in-between your toes!

Meditate outside – sit comfortably barefoot and take a few minutes to focus on your breathing.

Hug a tree – Seriously! It is scientifically proven that touching the Earths living organisms help balance your energy field.

Grounding technology – Earthing sheets for your bed (I love mine!) or mats to go under your computer are great for those who work long hours and lead stressful lives.

So what are you waiting for? Time to get Grounded!
