Hi there!
So a new group of beautiful ladies started one of our 8-week challenge packages yesterday at our gym in Camberley, so i decided as a welcome to make them a super healthy and tasty snack before their personal training gets under way!
These are perfect for slow release energy, full of antioxidants which are so important to keep your cells healthy and are great for reducing the level of stress in the body.
Ingredients
1 cup Almond Flour
1/2 cup Shredded coconut
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp Maca
1/2 tsp Turmeric
1/2 lemon juiced
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 tsp almond extract
1-2 tbsp natural sweetener (i used raw honey)
Mix all dry ingredients together, add wet ingredients and mix until well combined and forms a sticky dough. (add water if needed)
Refrigerate for 20mins.
Roll into balls and coat with coconut.
This amount made 18 balls yesterday so the ingredients go a long way and they will last for 3-4 days in the fridge.
Enjoy!!
