Fat Burn! – Due to their stop-start design they fall under high intensity training, helping you increase your metabolism, burning fat faster and for longer. Yay!
Overall Body Strength – with each and every rep (and you do a lot) you work your arms, chest, quads, glutes, hamstrings and core pushing your muscles to the max and developing that all important strength.
Endurance – They increase your cardio and muscular endurance. Burpees are a combination of resistance and cardio work, meaning that they trigger both aerobic and anaerobic responses from the body, which is why they’re so effective for increasing your workout capacity, making your performance at Evo even better!
So next time you do a burpee (we can safely assume thats tonight) think how lovely I am giving you such an amazing results driven exercise!
