So with a summer heat wave upon us….well no not really, but here is a great summer recipe!
I usually have strawberries left over from my raw vegan protein shakes, and i wanted to mix it up and and create a lovely little summer dessert. Sorbets are such a fave of mine, however, they are full of sugar! So enjoy this natural recipe version – you can even try it with other fruit, i just used what i had in my fridge 🙂
3 cups of strawberries
¼ cup honey (raw if possible)
1 tbsp lemon juice (of half a lemon)
Mix all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Pour into a container and place in your freezer. Every 60minutes, take out the sorbet and stir. Keep repeating this until Sorbet has formed and set. Then take out and enjoy at will. (you may need to leave to soften for a few minutes before serving.)
So simple, so yummy!
