The 3 Habits Of Happy People!

Something I hear from many of my members at The Evolution Project, Camberley is – I want to feel happy; I want to be full of happiness!

Stress and anxiety can have negative effects on our bodies, our health and our potential in our beautiful wonderful lives!

So many of us stop pursuing our dreams, our visions, our goals, because we have been told at some stage in our lives that

We are not good enough

Not smart enough

Not pretty enough

Or we have felt unloved, alone, misunderstood!

I like many people felt all the above and for years lost sight of who I was! I didn’t know how to connect with myself or who I was as an identity and my dreams were left forgotten about-to gather dust, to feel insignificant!

I have learnt from my years of self-development that true and lasting happiness ALWAYS comes from within! It is a muscle (like any other) that in order to see change, you must work every day!

Ways To Create Happiness Everyday!

Gratitude! – What are you grateful for – here and now!

Gratitude boosts our neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin—the happy chemicals in our brain! Feeling grateful activates the brain to focus on the positive aspects of our lives, increasing serotonin production and the more you do it the longer lasting the feeling! Meditation is a great technique to feel and express gratitude. (Use the Headspace app if new to meditation!)

Forgive Upsetting Thoughts/Feelings

There will be times when we will feel low. Understand what those feelings represent – Anger? Sadness? Anxiousness? It’s ok to feel like this! Be kind to yourself and focus on how you can move forward and let happiness flow back into your life! When you identify what you are feeling and forgive those thoughts, they lessen their power over you, they fade and you can move on.

Make Your Health Self A Priority!

Show yourself love by prioritizing your well-being! Take time to exercise and take time to prep and plan healthy meals! Bring energy and positive changes you wish to see in your mind and body into your life everyday by improving your well-being! To bring love and happiness into your life, you need to treat yourself with love and kindness!

Everyday my life is filled with happiness because I take time to connect with myself and to eat and train to be healthy!

Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like and celebrating it for everything that it is-right now!
