How To Completely Detox From Sugar Within 10 Days!

Sugar has been scientifically proven to be highly addictive and the average persons daily intake of sugar is 22 teaspoons! WOW!!

Its no secret that processed sugars are bad for our health and too much can lead to all sorts of health issues, mood swings and energy slumps! Eliminating processed sugar from your everyday lifestyle will help reset your body and health and increase your natural energy! When you see how great you feel without it, you will not want to go back!

Many of the members at The evolution Project Camberley, are currently taking this challenge – are you up for it too?

Go Cold Turkey!

Cutting out all processed sugars will automatically reset your body’s neurotransmitters and hormones. Stop consuming all forms of sugar and artificial sweeteners, which cause increased cravings, slow metabolism and lead to fat storage! For the next 10 days focus on sticking to real, whole, fresh food.

Eat More Proteins

Protein will help balance blood sugar and reduce cravings. Eating protein with every meal is the key to balancing blood sugar and insulin and cutting cravings. Nuts, Seeds, Eggs, Quinoa, Raw Vegan Protein Powder are great examples to include every day.

Get Active!

Exercising boosts your serotonin levels (feelings of happiness and well-being) enabling you to make healthy smarter choices to keep yourself feeling good, rather then relying on sugar to do that job for you!

Use Natural Fat To Fight Sugar Cravings

As science has proven – natural fats don’t cause weight gain-sugar does! Natural fats will keep you full and balance blood sugar levels as well as having great health benefits! Avocados, Coconut Oil, Nuts and Seeds are great natural fats!

De-stress Your Self!

If you are stressed, your hormones go crazy. Cortisol goes up which makes you hungry and causes you to store fat. Studies show that taking deep breaths activates a special nerve, called the vagus nerve. This shifts your metabolism from fat storage to fat burning and quickly moves you out of the stress state. And all you have to do is take a deep breath.

Deep breathing and meditation is something you can do anywhere, anytime. Simply take slow deep breaths in to the count of five, out to the count of five.

 Eat The Right Carbs

All vegetables are carbs, so having a plate full of veggies as part of your meals will help increase your energy levels as well as the amount of amazing minerals your body receives! Cauliflower, Kale, Broccoli, Sweet Potato, Green Beans – there are so many yummy options to have everyday!

Avoid Gluten and Dairy

These foods cause inflammation and can trigger cravings. Studies show that inflammation triggers blood sugar imbalances, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes, and type-2 diabetes. The most common source of inflammatory foods other than sugar and trans are gluten and dairy. After just 2 or 3 days without them, you’ll have renewed energy and your cravings will have lessened!

Get Enough Sleep

Lack of sleep keeps out hormones out of whack, increases cravings, and lowers willpower. You want more energy if you don’t sleep, so your body craves sugar. Try and get a good night sleep as often as you can or meditate to relax the body and bring it back into balance.
